Just started reading Planet Hulk. Looking pretty good so far.

Considering I hadn't read anything about The Hulk (or hardly any other Marvel comic) in about ten years, I was worried I wouldn't like it. So far though, the mean green man hasn't disappointed.

There appears to be another Hulk series out right now called: World War Hulk. I'm assuming it takes place after Planet Hulk, but I've been avoiding reading anything about so I can finish the current book unspoiled.

So, I curious for those in the know: Did 'The Hulk' miss out on the whole Marvel 'Civil War' thing because he was on another planet? Or did that event happen before he left?

I haven't actually looked into the Civil War storyline much. I'm still catching up on DC's last Infinite tales!

Finished Planet Hulk a while back and now the graphic novel is making the rounds with my friends.

I have to say, it was awesome. It was great to see the Hulk in top form.

If the Hulk never had a good reason to SMASH before, the defiantly gave him a good reason to do so by the book's end.

From what I've been told, this takes place during Marvel Comics' Civil War story arc. It seems Hulk was off planet while that fuss was going on.

Now, there are many comics out now dealing with his return to Earth (World War Hulk). While I am tempted to grab them, I'm going to wait to until the trade comes out in January (or at least thats what Amzon.com claims).

Actually, looks like World War Hulk has been pulled from Amazon.com's listings...

I might have to take another look at that stack of World War Hulk comics again...
